Press 195 --- "Great food, real beer, no bull"

Hola amigos! It’s official, winter is here as Bayside saw it’s first snowflakes! The cold weather can only mean one thing, comfort food and drink… and that’s what we are all about here at Press 195.

First, the annual Press 195 holiday costume party is fast approaching. Clear your calendars for Saturday Dec. 20th as you are all invited! We will have an open bar from 10pm-11pm, a DJ playing some funky holiday jams and of course good times and good friends...

In beer news, our taps continue to rotate as we clearly take our stance as being the beer experts on Bell Blvd. Beer highlights of this week include a very limited Jewbelation 12. From the makers of HeBrew comes this very strong brown ale (12% abv) that is brewed with 12 different hops and 12 different malts. Try a glass before it disappears till next season. Also new to the tap is Krusovice Dark. It takes a special European beer to make it onto our draft lines and this Czech offering makes the cut! This is a classic German style Schwarzbier, or dark lager. One taste and you will be planning your next trip to Praque!

In further beer news, we are currently planning our next brewery event for January 15th or Jan 22nd, tbd in the next week. Our last party for Outrage Ale was a huge success as the beer was flowing and the acoustic sounds of Matt Phillips got everybody moving. Outrage Ale is still available on tap so stop in, grab a pint, and see what the buzz is all about.

Food wise, our new Press Burger continues to wow customers. Come on in and give it a whirl, you will be very pleased!

Breaking Bread visits Press 195 in Brooklyn

Recently Breaking Bread, a new tv show on a channel in New York City called NetNewYork, visited the Press 195 Brooklyn location. Youtube has a a video highlight of the show that will be airing in Jan 09' on cable that features Press 195. Click here to see the preview....

Breaking Bread is a culinary show highlighting restaurants, cafes, diners, etc., in a particular parish. The show emphasizes the food, culture and beauty of each particular parish, while also getting to know some of the priests and restaurant owners. Breaking Bread is hosted by Tati Amare.
